12:00 noon - 4 pm on Monday, December 28, 2009

Ke Alahele - The MEDB Center, 1305 North Holopono Street, Maui Research & Technology Park, Kihei, Maui, Hawaii.
Who puts on this Career Fair?
Through funding from the County of Maui and Department of Labor along with partner company, Kama`aina Careers, the Maui Economic Development Board hosts this annual Career Fair.
Why does this event take place?
The High Tech Maui Holiday Career Fair allows job seekers a chance to meet and discuss their qualifications in person with top STEM employers on Maui. At the same time, it offers employers the unique opportunity to relay company information and recruit Hawaii-born students and former residents who come home for the holidays.
Why should I pre-register online?
1) It'll save you time - no waiting in line or filling out the same information on the day of the Career Fair. All you'll need to do is check-in with registration personnel and let them know you've pre-registered. They'll immediately provide you with a job fair packet and you're off to spend quality time with the employers. 2) You'll be eligible for a prize drawing provided by the companies. 3) Employers will have access to your information and resume PRIOR to the Career Fair.
In addition to pre-registering, is there anything else I can do to prepare?
Yes. We highly recommend that you do your own research. Please visit the websites of the various participating organizations as the majority require all candidates to complete their online application process for employment consideration.
Will there be walk-in registration available on the day of the event?
Yes.
How should I dress for this Career Fair?
The Career Fair is held outdoors so please dress accordingly. Casual business attire is recommended.
Are there any fees involved for job seekers?
No.
Who can attend this Career Fair?
Although the target audience is individuals in the science, technology or engineering career fields, this Career Fair is open to the public and employers will have information regarding various positions in their company.
Should I bring my resume?
We highly recommend that you pre-register online and upload your resume as this information will be accessed by the participating employers. However, we also do recommend that you bring several hard copies of your resumes for distribution.
What if I can't make it to the Career Fair?
Pre-register online and upload your resume, anyway, as your information will be made available to all the participating employers. We also recommend that you visit each employer website as many of the companies require that you complete their online application process for employment consideration.
